We tried this a few times before getting the "money shot", for which I was grateful that my wings didn't break or the headpiece fell off lol Sturdy construction ftw!

Thank you so much! It took time and trial and error to get to where I am, no one learns it over night. You just have to have fun with the learning process!

I love the colors in this and you look stunning wearing it. I've seen some Guardian Force Siren where they just stuck with yellow. I like how you did a great job of matching all the colors. Did it take long to make? It looks like it must have with all those feathers and having the wings mobile.

Thanks very much, I looked up every available reference to compare what feather colors she had and how they lay. I even had a friend kindly bring me a small figure of her from Japan so I could have a 360-degree reference lol.
It was about a month to a month and a half of work, I started the wings and then put them down for a couple months, then went back and finished the headpiece/wig, torso and tail, and painted all the wing tips.

I think you got it just perfect. What did you use to paint them and have them still look so feathery? I would have thought they'd get gummed up but they look good.

The yellow of the feathers were custom dyed by the company I ordered them from, which must be quite acidic because it kept the softness of the fibers, but the color didn't wash out. The tips were done with ordinary (outdoor) spray paint, and did fade a little bit after I had to dip them in a chlorine pool for a photoshoot.
