*Tasukichan mentioned doing Deedlit, and asked if I'd be interested in Pirotess. I immediately agreed since it's been on my to-do list for years, and with such a cute Deedlit, who could refuse! Being as tan as from the Caribbean was interesting, I look forward to a second run of this outfit to fix the problems I had.

The costume came together a lot quicker than I expected, but not without hiccups. The dress was made out of a heavy vinyl and took me a few days to pattern it, inserting sticky bra cups in order to keep...things...from popping out. My machine dreaded the vinyl so I had to appliqué the gold designs instead of machine stitching like I wanted. The belts were made from pleather, and her armor piece from craft foam and puffy paint. The ears were from, which I painted to a darker shade.
The boots were purchased on Amazon, gloves borrowed from ~beautifully-twisted, wig provided by *Tasukichan, and the headpiece made by *Yunie-chan.
I had some trouble with the tanner around the chest area, combining Sally Hansen and L'Oreal, but it worked out pretty alright for a first wear.

I have a quick question...
You said you used tanner for the skin? Does it come off easily?
For a few costumes I'm doing, I need darker skin(me being an extremely pale never go outside kind of person).

Anyways, beautiful costume! I love the ears! So cute!

OK, I googled it... just out of curiosity...

Anyway, yours is the best of the cosplay that came up. Great work!
Thanks very much. I really love a few versions done of her by friends, I hope I did nearly as good a job.

Meh- I don't think you've got anything to worry about. Yours is top notch!

Yes! Love! I love that you go back to some of the older stuff, all I ever see is newer stuff and some of the best anime's I've seen came out in the 80's and 90's. Rock on chica!
Thank you! I don't keep up with the latest and newest animes often times, so revisiting the classics is the natural alternative lol

Yeah, I've watched way more of the classics than some of the newer stuff. I haven't been really impressed with a lot of the newer animes. I'm hoping for a truly awesome series to come out.
