I'm elated to share one of my new costumes from Dragoncon - Black Widow (Natasha Romanovna) shot by Tiffany of [link] She is an absolute pleasure to shoot with, and works such different angles of characters. The costume itself was pretty easy, wet look lycra suit re-used from a previous costume, arm bands from a gold prop bolero, belt made in under an hour from resin gems and painted foam; though for the next wear the entire belt will be cast and the wrist bands will be shell casings. Resin gems by ~WindoftheStars, MPK5 provided by my east coast personal arms dealer Ronin.
I decided on a hybrid between the Kotobukiya Yamashita figure (costume) and movie (hair), mostly because I couldn't be bothered to wear a wig in that godawful humidity for another 5 hours. People seemed to like it a lot though!

This image would have been made stronger by wristbands that held actual (dummy or inert) ammunition cartridges. The plastic nature of the bands weakens the theme a bit. I made it a personal favorite in spite of this detail because the image is so appealing. Next time, maybe shop at a Military Surplus store and get some convincing hardware. The details are important.
